What Is Travoprost Ophth. Soln.?

Travoprost Ophthalmic Solution is a prostaglandin analogue eye drop used to lower raised pressure inside the eye in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, helping to protect the optic nerve and preserve vision. It is the generic equivalent of Travatan Z. It works by increasing the natural drainage of fluid (aqueous humour) out of the eye.

Key Benefits

  • Up to 80% cheaper than branded equivalents
  • Same active ingredient, strength, and therapeutic effect
  • Manufactured to WHO and international quality standards
  • Discreet packaging and fast worldwide shipping
  • No hidden fees – the price you see is the price you pay

How to Take Travoprost Ophth. Soln.

Instil one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily, in the evening. Wash your hands first, tilt your head back, and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye. Remove soft contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting. If using other eye drops, separate them by at least 5 minutes. Do not use more than once a day, as this can reduce the effect.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects include eye redness, mild stinging or itching, and a gradual, possibly permanent darkening of the iris, eyelid skin, and increased eyelash growth. Seek medical attention if you develop significant eye pain, swelling, sudden vision changes, or signs of eye infection. Use as directed and report any persistent irritation to your doctor.

Precautions

  • Inform your doctor of all other medications you are taking to avoid interactions
  • Tell your doctor about any allergies or existing medical conditions
  • Keep out of the reach of children
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
